Is your Ace strong enough on the table of cards ? Many players get that misconception when they are confronted at the table. Its a debatable question because a cards value can only go so far with so many other variables on the horizon. Situations such as this must not be over looked because it could possibly keep you from the final table. In my own personal experience I was dealt pocket Aces at the final table and 3 other people went all in before I could decide what to do , It was the hardest decision I have made in all the years of playing poker was to lay them down, Yes I layed them down because I know that when there are to many people on the hand odds are against you. Good thing too cause that pushed me up in the ranks to finish the tournament in 3 place, rather than 6 place which was a big gap in the prize money. understanding the game through thinking and analyzing players betting patterns and even your own tendency to raise can make you a target sign for your own destruction at the table, even when you think you have the upper hand. Poker is a game that constantly changes and you need to change with it otherwise your not going to see many final tables.
